I am thankful for so many things this Thanksgiving day .The health and well being of my family...The husband i have been blessed with...The fact that we are back in Texas surrounded by family and friends again...That the boys are doing so well in school...and hubby is loving his job ...but i think the thing that i am MOST thankful for is that ...

Thanksgiving is not at my house this year !

ok i know we used to do this and have gotten away from it and that there are SOME of you that have not paid any attention to your blog in so long . so i think that this will just be an easy way to at least once a week join in .i dont know how to tag someone on their blog page so i am doing it this way and i will post this on my blog too (because i have a few other blog friends other then family and think it would be neat to have them join in) so for those of you who dont know how to do this ---just take this picture copy and paste it from my blog and save it to a blog tag folder on your computer and paste it to your blog using the add a pic function and just blog what you are thankful for

our weekend

sooner or later i will get a phone call from someone asking what we did this weekend
Saturday we (the boys and i) hung around the house ,took a nap -ok i did- daddy was out of town for the day .then my sister and her little ones came over

Sunday morning we got out the pirate ship again we had fun putting it all together .then we had a battle .

looked for gold and some of us even got stranded on a island .

we even had a giant sea creature trying to take our ship down .it didn't get to do that because we fired a cannon at it but it did carry away a few of our shipmates

I love fall but i hate what the weather change does to my C.J.

please keep my mom in your prayers she is having her operation today .please pray for a speedy and easy recovery

It's the weekend update !

this weekend we dashed off to go see THE GODMOTHER .

took the pup with us that went well .helped decorate the shop~~!!!!it looks so good!!!

i hope that R will post pictures so you can all see it . Guys went to see a museum ,did not go so well it is an interactive hologram visit .big C said that after he drug them through it at 100

mph just to get out crying all the way he got a refund and went to the gift shop.that's where he lost his mind and got J a pop GUN ! yes that's what i said pop gun . so i let them play with for a day or so and now it is taken away i hope never to be thought of again .ha ha ha ha i know its a dream . big C said that he didn't even think anything of it till J took the gun and stuck it into a tee-pee and shot and ran that's when he said to himself "well S*** i just got him his first gun ,I'll never hear the end of this" and he hasn't .

Great visit

We have only been to see the boys other set of great grandparents at their house once since having them and the rest of the time we see them at Christmas .yes i know we are poop! we were determined to go this weekend because of that. i hate showing up for Christmas once a year,but with everyday life and junk we have not gone we keep saying we will go but then even with all the best of intentions we don't.this weekend we got off our butt and went . it was alot of fun we took the puppy and he traveled real well the boys brought toys and books and played in the back yard and even pulled a weed or two for grandma .we got home in time to chill out watching a cartoon before bed and got in bed at our regular time .you would think that after this great day of catching up and remembering ,and the boys getting to spend time knowing their GGparents (by the by the boys were awesome!)that i would feel good .noooo i feel like an even bigger pile for not going sooner .so we have made a new years resolution to make sure that we DO go more often .i did not know my great grandparents .nor was i as close to my grandparents as the boys are .so WE/I WILL DO BETTER .big C talks often about how much fun he had spending the summer with them growing up and i would like the boys to have a memory of their GGparents to tell their kids too

Halloween

Ok so i will be the first to blog about Halloween

we got to dress up three different times in three different costumes

school -what do you want to be when you grow up ? pet shop owner and monster truck driver

Halloween night- spider man and batman the dark night - not to be confused with the regular batman from a few years back

and all saints day well duh ! St John the Apostle and St Christopher
