ok while surfing the net i found this article .i was so mad that i actually posted a comment on this . i really dont ever do this because i know that it wont do anything .but oh man i was hot.
i have no problem with people not wanting to have kids .really i dont at all .i am glad that they know that and are not pressured into having them because it is the "norm" but to have them and then be hateful about it .it shows me that she did not have the backbone to stand up against the pressure she said she felt and say no i dont want kids .that is her own fault. a lack on her part . but now that she has done this ,accepted this gift from God she should suck it up and shut her mouth .i have never heard someone say " hey if you are self centered or selfish ,then you need to have kids ! its the job for you ! " i have always known when i had kids that i would not be the most important person around .i am sick of hearing woman complain about how hard it is having kids .guess what ladies all of us other moms know it is hard and trying .join the club you knew that when you took this job on .but you do this job out of love .with a hope and a prayer that you and all your hard work in raising this person will make the world a better place praying that the things you have taught them the things you have shown them will help them make the world better .i understand that we dont ever get the time with our husbands like we did before we had kids and that we dont have the relaxed easy life we had before .well then make the time .find a way .i understand burn out .i treasure the 20 minutes a night that i get with big C alone .i would like more ,really i would but i also understand that there will be a time that the boys are all grown up and i will have all the time with hubby i can stand ! so i treasure the time i have with my boys now .it wont last .

French mom offers 40 reasons not to have kids

People are either going to love the author interviewed in this article or they're going to hate her. Corinne Maier, a French mother of two, has written a book called No Kid: 40 Reasons Not to Have Children. From what the interviewer says about the book, it sounds as though Maier is pretty fierce and truly feels her life was better before kids. In the actual interview though, she seems slightly more humorous (albeit in a dark way).
Maier believes the French Government promotes the idea of family in that country in order to keep the economy running -- more kids equals more consumers to sell goods to after all, and also ups the amount of future earners contributing to the country's pension programs.
But Maier also has plenty of personal reasons not to have kids, 20 of which are listed in the piece. They include:
You will lose touch with your friends.
Your child will kill your desire.
Children sound the death knell of the couple.
You will be duped into thinking there is such a thing as a perfect child.
You will be expected to be a mother before you are a professional or a woman.
Children are dangerous. They will take you to court without a second thought.
Some of the reasons are harsh and some humorous, but I also think that some ring true. Possibly the most shocking thing about the book is that this woman, who lives in a society where having kids is often thought to be the only way a woman can really ever be fulfilled -- and in which those of us who haven't had or don't want children are viewed with pity or scorn -- is willing to admit that she regrets having children

Today- for those of you who live under a rock,on the moon ,under the ocean,or on a completely different planet-is the day that HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 was on
i know of several Young people that that had watching parties ,hung up decoration ,painted their hair and decorated their car (ask Julie) and wore their HSM clothes with pride
this is a day to be observed with the greatest of reverence ,a day full of excitement and giggles .almost a holy day for some . if i had children that cared about this i would have so taken advantage of it. sorry the grass needs to be cut before you can watch it ,the silver is looking a little dull or the fridge really needs to be cleaned -oh and don't forget the top-
but no my guys don't care ,we watched scooby doo.
but i did DVR it and the new Hannah Montana show for all the kids who come to my house and really truly care about this.
moms i know this was a day for the kids but a dear friend of mine gave me something that i can fondly remember about this day ...i will share it with you too so you can get something out of this day other then a headache from all the singing and giggling - go to good old Google and put in- ZAC EFRON rolling stone cover - this boy is 19 so it is ok he is legal you can ooggle and feel no shame .ENJOY

Ladies and Gentelmen, Boys and Girls !

Last night we took the boys to the circus for the first time .It was so much fun !

they could not sit down for most of the show and when they did the older man in front of us would get the back of his chair kicked .they could not be still. they would scream hoot and holler right along with every other kid there .

J has decided that the next time we go to see my mom that he is going to do all those cool trapeze tricks he learned,on her swing sets trapeze bar.ok so i dont see a visit any time soon . and little C really needs a motorcycle so he can do all those neat tricks they did there. also they had a Strong man there that was "better then superman " his words not mine !

they were showing their cousins how to do the cool rope tricks today and all 4 had a little circus in the back yard today .(thanks for the rope julie !)

this will have to be a yearly trip for us because all 3 of my guys really liked it .
i hope that these pictures show up they came out better then i thought.

hubby and i have taken several kids in our lives to the circus for their first trip and it is so neat to do . i even get a little teary eyed ,every time.

Smells of summer in Texas

My house stinks !
You are all so lucky we don't have "smell a blog"
i have 3 boys, one girl and one big ol dog ,that have been in and out of my house sense about 8:30 this morning .they are sweaty and stinky and all need a bath - ya see it is 91 here now but it is not even 11:30 yet so it will keep going up and up and the smell will keep getting worse and worse .aaaahhhh the smells of summer sweaty kids and stinky dogs !

Its coming

Its coming .i can feel it .
he runs from the shed ,across the yard then leaps in the air catches the rope and yells like Tarzan ! its coming and yes i will leave room on it for you to sign your name too

BUSY AND LOVING IT ! friday aug 10

I know it has been a bit so here we go ,

the bar in the kitchen still has a mess on it ,the bathroom needs to be cleaned ,there is dust on the tv,my room is still looking like we have boxes for furniture (but the bed is up)

but we are having fun .we have seen 2 or 3 movies with our cousins, we have had a big family day with the whole family over at grandmas ,we have had all the cousins from both sides of the family over to play. Just about every day we have a cousin to play with .IT HAS BEEN GREAT! even with all the stuff i need to be doing -- we are walking out the door to do to the splash pad with said cousins !

with all the fun we still miss all of yall on our old block !
