APRIL 28 2003

April 28th 2003

This was the day that the doctor came into my hospital room that i had sat in for 5 and a half long weeks ,and announced that "Today was a good day to have some babies"

This was the day that i had waited for for my whole life ! this is what i had been put on this earth to do ... i was going to be a mom a real mom not a stand in mom like i had very blessed to do and gladly been for so many other children and teens all those years . when i finally got to see them 3 days later it was the best day ever ,better then the day i got to meet them in the sonogram room,and big C's knees went week. i knew that all our prayers and hard work had been well worth it .I always said i wanted 2,4,or 6 .hubby said he always wanted 1.

God said here, you have waited 8 long years so have a two for one.There is not a day that goes by that i don't thank Him for these great, loving ,wild, funny, little men He put into my life.They make me cry and laugh all the time I cant tell you how great it is to be told "you are the best momma i have ",and know that they mean it and would not change that for the world -at least till they are 13-little C asked me if i was going to cry at this birthday too (like i do every year ) big C said yep honey she will and she will cry at every other one too,and as i sit here and type this i am balling my eyes out. It shocks me how yesterday they were both a bit over 4 pounds and preemie diapers were too big,how i could carry them both in my arms at the same time.how i loved having them in my bed every night and there was so much room for all four of us and now when they come into our bed in the middle of the night i have to leave because there is no more room for me.Or when those little babies that are no longer a bit over four pounds fall out of their beds ,i have to have daddy pick up them up for me because they are now too heavy for me to pick up much less carry both in my arms at the same time .

newspaper

well we made it in the newspaper - no not the police blotter - not yet-
little C who is on the top left (you will have to zoom in )made the paper for their school being involved every year with the saint Jude's children's hospital . and why yes that is the officer who gave him his tickets in the picture with her husband and child - he saw the paper and said look theres my police friend - he has such a good outlook on life -she gives him two tickets and he still calls her his friend . no you don't see any pictures of J he was busy at McDonald's

spring fever

OFFER UP A PRAYER

AFTER YOU READ THIS PLEASE TAKE TIME TO OFFER UP A PRAYER OF THANKS FOR MY DEAR FRIEND JULIE .

I GOT A CALL FROM HER TODAY TELLING ME HOW SHE ALMOST LOST THE BRAND NEW HOUSE THAT THEY HAVE JUST MOVED INTO AFTER BUILDING IT THEMSELVES FOR THE PAST YEAR .

JULIE,HUSBAND AND 6 OF THE 7 CHILDREN WERE STANDING ON THE BACK PORCH ENJOYING THE VIEW OF THEIR 11 ACRES WHEN ONE OF THE BOYS SAID WOW SOMETHING IS ON FIRE .SURE ENOUGH IT WAS THEIR NEIGHBORS PASTURE BEHIND THEM .THEY LIVE IN AN AREA WITH VERY STRONG WINDS SO IT WAS MOVING FAST .HER HUBBY AND HER 9 YEAR OLD DASHED OFF TO TRY TO STOP IT WHILE SHE CALLED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ,AND CHASED AFTER THEIR HORSES .THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED AND HAD TO CUT HER FENCE TO GET TO THE FIRE.SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE AND WHAT FEW NEIGHBORS THEY HAD STOPPED TO HELP .SORRY I CANT REMEMBER HOW LONG IT TOOK BUT WHEN IT WAS ALL SAID AND DONE THEY STOPPED THE FIRE JUST A TINY BIT FROM HER FENCE LINE .IT WOULD HAVE GOTTEN HER BARN AND BACK YARD THEN IF NOT STOPPED THERE THE HOUSE . THE FIREMEN TOLD HER THAT IT WAS A NEIGHBOR ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ONE BEHIND HER USING A CHAINSAW THAT CAUGHT FIRE . OH AND SHE WAS LUCKY THAT THIS HAPPEN ON THE WEEKEND BECAUSE ALL THE VOLUNTEER FIREMEN ARE AT WORK DURING THE WEEK .

SO AS SHE COLLAPSES INTO BED TONIGHT HER DAY ENDS WITH A HUSBAND WITH SINGED HAIR ,SAFE HORSES, HOUSE AND CHILDREN

AND KNOWING THAT SHE IS TRULY TRULY BLESSED

...

AND A 9 YEAR OLD WHO IS SOOOOOO PUMPED !

trike a thon

Friday was the trike a thon for Saint Jude's Children's hospital at the boys school . The boys each earned 100.00 for the cause . Thank you family and friends .They had a blast .the teachers had a parking space reserved for each class to use as their parking lot,

there was a McDonald's stand - it had popcorn cookies and orange drink for them,

there were a husband and wife who are police officers handing out tickets .why yes yes we did get tickets ,little C got two one for speeding and one for passing and bumping. i will say it now and you all need to hold me to it .I WILL NOT NOW NOR WILL I EVER PAY FOR ANY TICKETS THAT MY SONS GET .now when they forget to pay them and end up in jail I WILL NOT GET THEM OUT.you got in you can get out .now that being said when one of them call me at 2am crying from the jail ,just try to stop me from getting there in 5 minutes flat.ANYWAY...their papa and mom(my mom)came to help out ,papa and i we in charge of making sure that no one fell off the ramps and my mom way the car wash.

J made her promise

him that she would not spray him at all .

but you see that was not really a problem for her because he only want around a few times then disappeared . when i asked where he was i was told that he did an illegal u-turn on the track to get to McDonald's and just camped put there . little C went around and around and...

then we went inside and they had games and face painting set up for the kids .

all in all it was a real fun day .after it was all said and done we came home and mommy took a nap .

hair gel and bruises

hi ya
today was just a run around day for me took boys to school got mom from car shop went to sams got boys from school went to lunch with mom .and now at home .all is right with the world .i am on line and the kids are playing quietly .now i am just going to wait for the other foot to fall.ha ha
little C who is now mostly going by CJ. went to school in a faux hawk it worked till he broke a sweat . daddy promised him that on the last day of school that we would give him a real Mohawk .i guess i am ok with that because i dont think that it will last long and we shave their heads for the summer anyway so it can be fixed real easy if it is horrid !

J went to school beating on himself today because he wore his favorite transformer shirt that lights up .for some reason he does not believe anyone that you dont have to whack yourself to make it light up .so i am sure that if he stays in this shirt long he will have a bruise the shape of his hand -yes i will post pictures of said bruise

I need a 12 step program

God grant me the strength...
I am in the process of a Google search for a 12 step program that i can download to get me over my addiction of this computer .i got it back last night ,my husband calls her very ugly names .
i went to bed at 2 am after my eyes were blurry and my hands hurt . got up took the boys to school and got back on .when i tell you that i have been on here all day long - i really mean all day. big C took the trash out today and when he came home there were still no new bags in the cans .no need i did nothing to make trash . i even got the boys lunch out today .yep we have food in the house just needed to get back on line .the boys had their turn too while i did homework for a bit with my nephew,not much but a bit then i bought dinner tonight too .big C is very unhappy . i don't blame him .i am appalled at myself too ,but here i sit . but i did clean the playroom top to bottom after dinner .that's something .i have made a deal that by 3 pm the computer will be off from now on ...

at least till the boys go to bed

hello !

we are back! thank you to my brother .i am so glad that i convinced mom and dad to keep him when we found him in the woods that day !

we are all doing well .no more asthma problems that have us packed and ready to head to the hospital ,no more ear infections or staph infections,no more taking little boys to get staples in their head . we have had a very normal ,for us, 2 months or so . the first of the year must have been just a wake up call or something ,and now we have our other family member home (the computer)all is right with the world . but i better stop while i am ahead .dont want to jinx anything .
