BOYS

I know God loves me ,want to know how i know ? He loves me because He did not give me triplets .I have a new respect for women with more then two boys !
let me explain ,my hubby left on mothers day to go to San Francisco for a week and my sister in law Kaycee left to go to Chicago as well . so i have 3 boys who i love oh so much going 90 to nothing all day and night . my nephew is 9 and such a little man . the boys love love love to have him here .they would cry for him while we were in Georgia and now cry for him when he goes home after school .so it was the best news in the world for them when they found out that he would be staying here for the week . he helps with the boys and loves them just as much as they love him ,and the rock star status he has in this house ain't half bad for him either :)
but let me tell you in case you have not ever had the... uuummmm joy? no.. the chance, to be up close to three little boys that have gone in and out and in and out and in again .the dog loves this as well because she is doing the same thing now add water guns and you have a smell that hangs in the air . the water guns are new for us so that is a new smell too - wet boy.it is not that different from wet dog - that smell i knew and could keep outside but the combo ..wow !
all three of these guys crash into bed every night and my tub is so eeewww from the dump trucks of dirt that are washed down the drain every night .really the smell, the dirt ,the noise, is all ok with me because they are all three having a blast,and its not even summer yet . him being here has help a bit with daddy being gone and i think that it has help with him missing his mom too. i Can see my little guys going from baby to little boy and my nephew seeing that he is a roll model so it makes him even more of a great kid .he tries and i stress tries to keep them in line ,hold their hands when we are out and about ,helps them wash up for dinner ,carries their dinner to the table gets them napkins and has even taken over my hubby's job of locking the doors and turning out the lights . the only problem we have come across is when he is out front with one of his pals from school there are two very jealous boys in the house sticking their heads out the door to tell him it is time to come in .
i can see it now when it comes time for him to go home the tears the yelling and gnashing of teeth "Aunt Kaycee Nathan is our boy ! " i am really sure that he will be more then ready to leave his rock star status behind by the end of the week , and i will be stuck here with very sad and loudly complaining boys acting like they will never see him again when in fact he will be here the following Monday after school.
