the same night as holy spit ,little c was staring up at the planets that hang from the ceiling in their room ,and said "momma Texas is on the planet earth" was not asking just stating a fact - so i said" yep honey your right it is" .then he was quite ,i thought we were done .that he had just told me something he thought i didn't know .just giving poor old momma some schooling .

nope then he sat up and looked at me and asked .well then momma ,what planet it Georgia on?"

i just didn't know how to answer him

-cause i just don't know

SPIT

my oldest son, j, has a great sense of self worth .i don't think that i am going to have to be worried about his self image at all . the other night he was laying in bed and he kept licking his finger and rubbing it on his forehead and he'd lick it again and rub his forehead . i told him to stop that was gross and go to sleep . he told me that he was doing a "holy blessing" i told him he needed holy water for that not his spit . and he informed me that no he didn't because "it is holy spit"

now understand this kid with the holy spit is the same one who takes his brothers imagination away from him (like you take someones nose )

how holy is that ?

my three things in life

oh my goodness i just cried my eyes out

what a great show

and to think i would not be able to watch it if it were not for the miracle of dvr

i cant even fathom how i ever lived without it !

dvr ,snickers and dr pepper .the gods gifts to man

i will pay for few things for me

always for the family

never for me

but these are the 3 things that the dogs could starve, kids go without the latest toy and the husband could go naked . but i , i would be in our cardboard box under the bridge with my tv cord going to the closest plug and a dr pepper and snickers in each hand.

but there i go rambling on

there have been few tv shows i have really liked

WWF- but i was young and oh so dumb-my parents finally intervened

the sopranos - they took too long for the next season - and i had to pay for them -

heroes - i still love

but greys anatomy

this is a great show -

i admit that the Derek /Meredith drama went on too long for me i am glad they have that all worked out

Denny -- he got to me -

the check-it was cute

but George's dad oh man that really got me i sobbed - sobbed !

the writers on this show have it full of twists and turns and they are good really good

Red necks galore !

you know you live next to red necks when ...

ok so at about 300 this afternoon the next door neighbors started to get the wood pile ready for tonight's burn . they gather all the four wheelers the beer and the trucks .stand around the burn barrel and hoot and holler drive down to the crick(creek) at the back and do Lord know what.and i am sure He wishes he didnt .

they have their kids running around while they drink and pile on more and more wood .the doors and window on all the trucks are open and mostly all in tune to the same country station .but that really does not matter cause the dont know all the words by 10:00 anyway

i actually had to asked them to find out who was woo- hooing the loudest and have them try to keep it down a bit.they said sure and then offered me some moonshine .NO LIE .moonshine !

uncle Jessie and the duke brothers are alive and doing business in GA

they are really really nice people ,they just cant all afford the sleeves or sides of their shirts.

one of there buds was riding back from the crick down the dirt road on the other side of our house and thought that they would cut across our back yard to get to the burn barrel and then saw the fence.they almost got stuck but they managed to get back on the road - i almost lost what fence i have .

i can understand the confusion ,they may not recognize a fence ,lots of people down here dont have them .they got dogs just not the fence .dont ask me --

big C will go over and hang out with the "necks" some of the time -free beer fun gang ,interesting stories .and man you should have seen him move when he found out there was moonshine !

i have heard a rumor that the "necks" are going to get him his own barrel - Heaven help me

i have to tell you that even with all the colorfulness they are still quieter and nicer then the folks next door to us in Texas - they will keep it down or try to when asked and i have not met a nicer bunch .wouldn't trade 'em for nuthin !
