cookie day

so as you know there is nothing to do at my house .no toys, no brother, no games, TV, books, dog or mother to play with . we have had several day of orange level pollution days in a row and so i try to keep them inside . now most of you have boys in your house so you understand how hard it is to keep them in and still get all the energy out of them . they have not been going down to bed very easy at night it is taking longer and longer. there is much more fighting and arguing and the every so often -"well then i am kicking you out of my band "threats . i will admit that a few times i have chosen my sanity over their very health and made them go outside (OK a little on the drama )- if you ask CJ i make them run laps and tell them to just adjust when they ask for food. you have to ask my mom about that one .i am sure that she is working with CPS right now - JD swears that i am sending him out into the rain forest or something just as bug infested . i have to tell you it brings out the sick woman in me to see him run around the yard ducking and dodging and screaming from things i cant see from in the house as i just laugh and laugh -so i in an effort to look better in the CPS reports decided we would make cookies - so we washed hands (only to lick our fingers every time we touched the Cookie dough ) and got started - they made it all the way through ...the first sets of pans - then they were only interested in how long it took for therm to cool so they could eat them - so i was left making the rest all alone - while i bounced back and forth stopping a fight here ,changing a movie out, making one brother invite the other back into the band ,stopping monster trucks from running over littlest pets . oh and burning cookies . now i made this great plan of cookie making so i could only heat the oven once that day because it heats the house up so much so i was stuck in the kitchen after cookies were done cooled and in boys bellies to make dinner and still do all of the above . That's when much to my mistake - i thought the Calvary arrived- no it was just big C home from work so tired and hot that he needed a nap and just wanted to be called for dinner.aaaawwwww
here is the proof that did at least try - please make sure that these pictures end up in my file
PS in case you don't have my moms number to ask about the adjust -
i told him to let his food digest before asking for more
digest - i swear !

WOW !!! Am I ever happy to say, "Welcome to Motherhood" girl friend:-)
I am so proud of you taking on the cookie challenge and to make them from scratch to boot!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and these sure show us what the thousand words you were saying or not saying.
Love,
Mom
